Long after that incident, the children of Mune Ginche, Mune Jingje and Tokke Rani, the grandchildren of Nosimitte settled in Achikcham Hill by claiming Ghat (bathing place) and constructing artificial waterfall in the river Rongdu. Among these children, Chin and Rangman became the most prominent persons. Older sister Chin was the daughter of Tokke Rani and younger sister Rangman was the daughter of Mune Ginche. It was from the time they settled there, claiming the ghat by constructing artificial waterfall these two places came to be known after their names even today. These two Giant waterfalls-Chinma Dare and Rangmanma Dare can be found along river Rongdu down the stream after 30 minutes trek from National Highway 44E. These two waterfalls have unique character of producing High pitch volume of sound every before rainfall and bright sunshine which locals describe as Balchaa. If one has a view of these waterfalls from a distant place, these two waterfalls appear as the white-strings of beads. And there is a saying that no one ever had dived into the floor of Chinma waterfall. As per the saying, around this place, there are also two look-out houses: one is of the Kore (madness) and the other of the Katchi (spirit). Besides, there is a Dikge Mongera in this place. But no one can take that dikge as it is at the back of the Giant frog and has a spell. If someone goes near it, it castes its spell upon to make the person feel sleepy. Tokke Rani and Mune Jingje had other children also, they were Chichat and Dongdrang. They also had their own bathing ghats which are called Chichat dare and Dongdrang Dare which can be found at the left side of the river Rongdu adjacent to Rangmanma Fall. These two streams from where Dongdrang and Chichat originated come from Rongkugre Private Land which belongs to Mongsrang Clan.
Meantime, the daughters of Mune Jingje were staying in Achikcham Hilltop. They were, Gajing Gane Chine Tokke. They had a husband named Urengsi Urengbal. During that time, one Matchadu-Matchabet (a species which is of half-man and half-tiger known for staying in the form of man during the day-time and becoming tiger during the night-time) took shelter in Dae Jokpret upstream. He was expelled by Abet-Aje, the lord of the forest from his own place and started killing people in that part of the country. Then, Urengsi-Urengbal weighed a war against that species and became successful in killing all of them afterwards. After that, Kaku Ringtek husband of Mintang Gamre became very rich and collected so many kinds of precious materials and articles like Rang which is considered as one of the symbols of riches. He collected so much of wealth so much so he had to construct a storehouse to keep all his wealth and riches. It was from that time that this place came to be known as Rangjam Abri which means a hillock where storehouse was built to keep the wealth.
Artificial in the sense, they waylaid the river to their respective household. Their actual residential houses were at Rangjam Hill.

Thankyou and I hope I will be able to show you more of the area and the people her.. 🙏
If you want to know the precise story of Challang word, you could have talked to that very person, the secretary of Susnggre wakap. He knows very well about it. But the problem you would face is, the language.
Yes that's the problem..🙏 but there will be more videos about many thing in the furture that I will need them again.. So I am keeping in touch with them right now..

Come on... Not only Lyngngam area but the Garos are there, and about the development not a local people are trying but Garos are trying.... In next video try your best to explain about the Garo too.. Keep it up👍
Yes I only saw Garo youth who working hard and taking care of Rangmanma Dare (Fall) & Chinma Dare (fall). Yes it under Shallang Area but the land belong to Garo (A'chik) community. I like to request the video maker kindly promote Garo tribe too who working hard to clean it.
No hate from me but truth is truth.
You can Check the name it given by Garo people Rangmanma & Chinma, usually Garo people using it most not hard to pronounced. But if it given by khasi than it will very hard people like us to pronounced..
Yes friend, when I say the locals means the locals of swangre wahkhap.. Garo village I had already mention there that garo Gare clans came to settle there..
I will do better next time.. Thankyou for the comment 🙏
Thanks for response bro. Hope to see in the next video. By the way video was amazing. I enjoy it ☺😉
Yeah...i got it but it's better to say Garo village or Garo people or something like that..
Thank you bro..🙏
I am only staring bro.. You can see from the no of videos I posted.. Just 3 monts old in RUclips.. No experience at all.. I really need to improve. Especially the contents and in front of camera..
