Thank you for the upload! I loved this documentary as a kid. I had it in a theee part series: Planet Earth, Animal Kingdom and Human Life. My favourite parts of this one were the impossible journey of the salmon back to the hatchery, the otter (the one shot shows the otter seemingly asking the viewers whether we think the abalone will come off 😂), the bee communication and the Monarch Butterflies! Praise the Lord for the beauty of our world and all the wonders of it which make it so easy to praise Him anew! And praise the Lord for making a way of salvation so that we could know it was Him who made our world, us and everything in it!
I remember watching some atheist propaganda about nature when I was a kid, I was all pumped about finding out that fish had necks and turned into humans😂 I told my mom this and I remember her face, like disappointment but she knew where the problem laid. I noticed later I couldn’t watch National Geographic anymore and only years later I connected the dots😂 I love my mom, and now I have something to show my baby brother and hopefully a few good boys of my own one day. So I stay on the safe side - and do not eat a lot of meat, and if it is meat, just pure animals. So the animals did not die so we could eat them, the were created...as meat to eat...Well what a thought...
The difference between the creatures and God is that the creatures acknowledge the Creator while humans walk around with their mouth muzzle it's a cowardly thing to do. They are not afraid at all
Jesus himself went before us as an example like the parents of the salmon. So we too swim against the current of the world and have to overcome many dangers in order to arrive at the place where we where born again: from above, from God and from heaven. As human beings, we cannot swim against the current of the water like fish, but when we are born again, we are made to swim against the current of the world, to renounce evil lusts and desires and to give our lives for God. He is the one that came from God and returned back to him, dying in the process to give new life to us. Such parables are often found in nature, because God has hidden them there to reveal them to us. Salmon is also a healthy and tasty fish to eat, so we, like them, should be among the good fish not the bad.
I do also enjoy David Attenborough's documentaries on nature. However, & no offense to Mr, Attenborough, but I do get rather tired of hearing about the secular terms, "evolution & millions of years ago", that he unfortunately uses. I do believe he is unsaved & that's why he uses those false terms, so I've been praying for him for several years to trust in Jesus Christ to get to heaven. (On a most important side note: Going to heaven is a FREE gift from God and it's impossible for anyone to try and earn their own way There by doing good things.) God commanded to sacrifice clean animals to Him in the Old Testament, then eat the meat.
