Hi, In this PSV section we are not take any standards. because we need to safety for hydro testing activities,it's tempory arrangement only. if your hydro test pressure 30kg/cm2 means you can used 35 kg /cm2 PSV. our ultimate goal is to secure the equipments.
Psv we select according test pressure . design pressure is the procedure only not for final...we would select final pressure value for example test pressure 10bar 10×1.1=11...
how it comes both the guage pressure will be same. surely there will be pressure difference in both guages. In fittings pressure guage pressure is more than top guage pressure because of static head pressure
if the vessel height is above 10m bottom gauge reading has a difference. but we are discussed with the horizontal heat exchanger only. The exchanger has no pressure difference will come. so don't confuse with exchanger and vertical vessel. I only explain the horizontal exchanger and pipeline hydro test procedure in this video. 10-meter height means bottom gauge reading shows 1 kg/cm2
