  • The microwave motion detection sensor is based on the Doppler principle. Identifies moving objects at a distance of 5 centimeters to 5 meters. The maximum distance can be adjusted using a rear panel tuning resistor.
The sensor detects the movement of any object reflecting radio waves. It does not matter the temperature or material of the object. It works through almost any obstacle and can be hidden under wooden steps or upholstery.
The sensor can be connected to a power source from 5 to 25V DC. When motion is detected, the sensor outputs a logical unit over one wire. To connect it you need only 3 wires. The sensor is devoid of all the disadvantages of the ultrasonic sensor. It can replace the ultrasonic sensor if you have a need to install the sensor in a limited space or not a staircase railing.
