I like the fact that he shows it years down the road like 2 years because you can always look good in the very beginning when you still have the swelling for up to 6-8 months even more but two years it's calmed down by then I've been through it

I am a male 60 years old, but I feel 40 and was looking 60. I decided to have a neck lift and facelift due to sagging neck. I am 3 weeks Post Op and wow what a difference! My neck looks like a 30 year old….I’m happy with my facelift too…..I am now looking like I feel. My surgeon tells me it will only get better moving forward….
(1) Did the surgeon make any incision under the chin? If so, did it leave a scar/bump under the chin that makes it difficult for you to shave? (2) Did the surgeon also perform fat liposuction under the chin? Or was that not needed because you mainly had the loose neck skin and not much neck fat? (3) Did the surgeon perform platysmaplasty to fix the neck bands? 🤔

@@Better_Call_Raul Hi Raul. 1) the surgeon did make an incision under the chin and there is only a tiny bump and shaving is not a problem for me in that area. 2) There was no liposuction under the chin (only loose neck skin that was pulled around the back the ears with incisions. 3) No platysmaplasty.....I do have follow-ups with my Surgeon to assess the progress. So far all is good 4 months post op.
@@jamesramirez8137 Thanks for the response. Very helpful. Some patients have mainly loose neck skin, with little to no neck fat, and so liposuction and platysmaplasty is often not necessary. Just incisions around the ears to pull up the neck skin.
But it is interesting that you had incisions behind the ears AND under the chin. So apparently the surgeon felt that he can remove more loose neck skin with the additional incision under the chin.
She looks much better, but it looks like she needs to get some fat injected into her face

Was that all that was done? Or was there some laser treatment of the skin to get rid of deep furrows along the neck and face? Her features weren't just "tightened up" but her skin looks smoother as well. Just curious....

OM Goodness. Oh wow. I wonder what a procedure like that costs (ballpark) and what the recovery time is.
15K - 30K depending on the surgeon, location, and severity of case. (Doctors in Miami are going to be more expensive than say, Oklahoma. Surgeons with more experience, board certifications, famous clients, etc., more expensive.)

What could be done for deep neck fat, enlarged disgusted muscle, and enlarged submandibular glands? Say a person has these problems but wants a super sharp neck and jawline like Angelina Jolie, Ariana grande, and Anna Nicole smith, would it be possible to address and fix above concerns and could outcome be achievable? Also excellent explanation and graphical video to show everything!
