You don't have to pull the charging handle to assemble. Just leave bolt forward and place barrel over then slide the bolt back.
just tried and you're right. I think it makes it easier if it's out of the way though.
I had just as hard of time putting my gun together. Your video was a big help better than the benelli tech video.

I just got one. Had a hard time getting barrel on. Got it together. Took it apart & put back together a few times. It gets easier. Just stay patient

No kidding, I’m looking to get my pops an SX4 and cant find it in wood gain anywhere.
What a absolute disaster to assemble, it is so tight i cant even get it together. Gonna have to take it to the gun smith
It wasn’t easy getting it together this first time either. Once you get it together you should love it. I recommend testing it out on paper to see if you have the dreaded “high left” shot. Benelli process some shims that you can adjust.
It wasnt as intuitive as I would have hoped, but beautiful tool once you figure out the nuances.
