Okay but how long will it last with such a thin wear layer? I would love to put this in my house for looks but it won’t last more than 5 years with a wear layer that thin
Absolutely! I will say it scratched in a couple of places, but for the most part looks just as good as when I installed it. Really like how it's waterproof as we don't worry as much about spills or wet boots/shoes.
It's 100% online ordered. I can imagine waiting eagerly for it to arrive, only to see a bundle bashed by sloppy handling and sketchy packaging. How securely are the bundles packaged? Tell me the truth. 😏
That's a valid concern- However, I was incredibly impressed that nothing arrived damaged. We actually placed a total of 3 orders and didn't have any issues. The flooring is very well packaged and wrapped on pallets. In addition, they have some really good customer service if you ever had a problem. I'm a huge fan of Flooret - their locking system is best I've seen and the whole product is super quality - going to do my whole 1st floor 'soon' Have to point out your water test starting at about 5' is kinda flawed - you really need a hole in the top of the jar for it to be valid (think of the old straw-with-finger-over-top- trick) I'd rather have seen a 'dam' to create a well of water over the seam and see how that goes (although I'm pretty confident it would be good)
@@royjohnson9043 The Balboa is a great color. Its held up very well. A few nicks here and there (mostly the kitchen from dropping things), but not really noticeable and easy to touch up with a wax crayon or stain marker. Will do an update on how it's holding up soon. Would still install again
I think you'd be a lot more impressed than you would expect! I threw a scrap piece of flooring into a bucket of water for a few days just for the heck of it and it took a while before it started to affect its finish, but it didn't even warp!

lmao fork scratched it which means furniture which weighs way more would scratch it easily
You could say that... However I was really impressed that out of 16 swipes there was only 1 scratch. No flooring is invincible

Please don’t.. press board will NEVER be better than hardwood. Give it one year and you’ll be replacing this for water damage alone.
