Just like the second game, this is way to easy thanks to the stupid respawn system that let you countinue right from where you die, even in the middle of a boss fight. That, together with a lot of extra lives is a big minus in this game. The first Magical Quest had some decent challenge. I still prefer this a lot over the second game. It looks great and has a great soundtrack.
...you mean there are people who willingly choose Mickey over Donald when given the choice? (Kinda joking here.) Still, this is a pretty good game. I get the feeling it wasn't released on the US SNES because it was a late release, and it would've been another year to translate it, despite being an action game. There is a GBA port, and that got a US release.

One of my favorite SNES games
