I once pulled a U-turn in the middle of a neighborhood intersection, straight into the side of a classic T-Bird. I really blew it. It was bad enough to pull an illegal U-ee but of all the cars to slam into!
It wasn't as "classic" as the one featured in this video but the poor man I hit was pretty crushed (undoubtedly so). I felt SO BAD. But he was a very nice man who was very forgiving despite it all.

That rear-mounted spare tire is called a “Continental Kit.” Many cars of the fifties sported that option. Too bad that this report was done near such a noisy airport!

Really cool collectible car! Reminds me of Perry Mason on late night TV. They always had a T-Bird somewhere in some of the episodes. Is it all original? I did not see a seat belt. I guess that would have to be aftermarket, since they did not require them by law. Thanks.
