@@danalynch118 I think I'm with you there--their relationship is unhealthy during the story because the *PLOT*™ is happening, but my interpretation of the good ending was sort of that they're starting down the path to repairing their relationship, among others! ^w^ That's part of why I love them!
@@AdmiralAdorable exactly. Their fight at the end of the true ending was ironically what started the path to healing. I really think Basil injuring Sunny helped him realize how much they were both hurting each other and it’s the same w Sunny. They realized the path they were on wasn’t the one they wanted because of that fight. I think it’s also part of what might’ve given Sunny the ability to fight Omori too

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was an Elder Scrolls thing, (I thought it was an Oblivion reference, but I'm not too sharp with Elder Scrolls lore) although when I looked it up to verify it I couldn't find any record of an NPC saying what Basil said in the meme. I was able to find Skyrim NPCs saying "By the gods, this can't be happening," so I figured I was close enough with the Elder Scrolls guess. ^w^
I said that because even though Talos is like a god in almost every elder scrolls games, ol' Tiber Septim is mostly mentioned in Skyrim. I could be wrong about it just being a Skyrim reference though.

I'm chuffed to bits that you enjoyed it! I have actually recorded a Part 2, and it's my hope to have it up by the 9th of this month! The characters are a lot of fun to voice because they're so distinct and lovable, so I'm glad that came through. Sunny was one of the more difficult ones because for everyone else, I just used the voices that I imagined them with during my playthrough, so I didn't have as much to go on for him as he has fewer speaking parts. Regardless, thank you very much for your warm words! ^w^

So, I thought it would be okay to eat something while I watched this. That was a MISTAKE. XD Once again, this was so good! Honestly, dude, I really think you might have a knack for this kind of thing. Because, at least in all the playthroughs of games that I've watched from you, your character voices have always been really good. I know I definitely couldn't do something like this. If you ever wanted to actually get into voice acting, I would 100% support that, because I think you would do a great job. Although, that does involve talking to people, so maybe you don't want to do that, but, still. You could definitely do it if you wanted to. I believe that.
Sorry for any food-related damages I may have inadvertently caused. Thank you so so much! It means a lot that you'd say that because acting, voice or otherwise, has always been something I dig! The biggest hurdle with voice acting is the barrier to entry; it's tricky to get good enough sound quality at home for a proper recording gig, and even trickier not to get evicted if a neighbour hears me screaming about how Stuart Little would be permitted to partake in the body of Christ nextdoor. XD But nevertheless, it's still a pipe dream of mine, so to hear you say it is very meaningful.

I actually just completed my first playthrough of Omori 🤩 and for many personal reasons this game means so much to me which also means the ending hit me that much harder (got the good ending btw) and I literally just had no clue what to do and needed a little something to make me laugh so thank you for the very much needed laughs. I'm so happy you enjoyed it! This is the sort of intense emotional story that I'm sure hits hard for a number of people; there's a lot of subject matter it covers. I finished my first playthrough last September and also got the good ending, which left me with a heck of a lot to think about. I made this video in part because I've basically thought about OMORI every day since I finished it and I needed an outlet. I'm thrilled to have been a part of the reason you don't need to cry yourself to sleep anymore! I love how it covers so many topics that I feel resonate with many people and while in many ways this game broke me it was also very healing to me though I'm sure I won't be able to listen to the final duet without shedding a few tears now XD. No tears were shed falling asleep last night XD woo hoo! I also think that everyone who plays OMORI does something to help them cope with finishing this game whether it be through writing, art, music, or any other creative creations because it really is just one of those games that makes you want to do something to show just how much it meant to you.

Really, captions should be at the very basic level of service, as they offer accessibility to people who are hard of hearing or otherwise people not fluent in English via the auto-translate, but they take some time to do, so I'm pretty sluggish about getting them going for any video longer than twenty minutes.
