Hey guys dont forget, there is ikhtilaf (difference on opinion) regarding witr, while it is sunnah for the shafii hanbali and maliki, it is vacib that means obligatory for hanafi. The way of praying Witr also differs. Please dont just watch RUclips Shorts, seek for imams in real life and ask them or seek videos where it is explained profoundly in RUclips. But Imams in real life will give you a correct answer to your question. My comment is not to disregard the videos of our Brother, his videos are amazing.
I know that Hanafis pray 3 rakat witr and that's completely fine and according to sunnah but we shouldn't hesitate in praying 1 rakat either if we have less time or are extremely tired. After all, that's also sunnah doesn't matter if you're Hanafi or Shafii or Maliki or Hanbali.
What is the opinion of Hanafi to pray it like Maghrib? Clearly the hadeeth states that the Prophet SAW said to not prsy it like Maghrib. So why do Hanafi's pray it like Maghrib?

You can pray witr prayer by 2 ways 1st one is by praying all three rakas together and standing in the 2nd rakat and sitting for tashud only in the third rakat 2nd one is that you pray 2 rakas like the 2 farz of Fajar prayer and then you say salam and after that you stand up and pray one single rakat in which you say your duas after reciting Surah Al Fatiha and additional Surah And Allah s.w.t knows best

Here in India after saying atahiyat in the 2nd rakat sitting we stand up for the 3rd recite surah fatiha, a surat then say Allahu Akbar while put both of your hands down then raising them to the ears touching them then standing like we do while standing and recite Dua e Qunoot and the rest like normal

I would like to tell, if you pray 3 raka't of vitr, it's sunnah to read surah Al-A'ala in the first raka't, surah Kafirun in 2nd raka't, surah ikhlas in last raka't. And when you stand for 3rd raka't, raise both hand after saying AllahuAkbar like we do at the start. **Answer to your question** After surah ikhlas again raise both hand, say AllahuAkbar, get back to previous position and read Dua-E-Qanut in last raka't and go for the ruku and sujud. And no sitting and reading Tashahhud (Attahiyat) between 2nd and 3rd raka't.
Then you also have Abu bakr who would pray them before sleep as if he woke up early before fajr still prey more rkaats not sure her would wake up early and omer would keep witr till he wakes up before fajr and maybe prey even more rakat before fajr as he knew he would wake up early

I would like to tell, if you pray 3 raka't of vitr, it's sunnah to read surah Al-A'ala in the first raka't, surah Kafirun in 2nd raka't, surah ikhlas in last raka't. And when you stand for 3rd raka't, raise both hand after saying AllahuAkbar like we do at the start.
**Answer to your question**
After surah ikhlas again raise both hand, say AllahuAkbar, get back to previous position and read Dua-E-Qanut in last raka't and go for the ruku and sujud. And no sitting and reading Tashahhud (Attahiyat) between 2nd and 3rd raka't.
