In European leagues across all sports there isn’t such thing like a Draft if a player is 18 you can give him as much money a contract duration as you want but if he’s a minor you can only give him a 3 year contract
It's so weird that Americans in general don't know how football, the most popular sport in the world, works lmao. Or sports in the majority of the countries.
Players don't play for schools, they play on the youth ranks of clubs.

People pay attention to things they care about while football is the most popular sport in the world in America it’s about 4th behind baseball American football and Basketball it’s like me going to Russia and expecting them to know about NBA/Basketball but you it’s easier to say that about America because we aren’t in tune with international sports.
I’ve seen clique and Kenny both trashing the ai for players making easy buckets but honestly it’s SOOO much better than previous years where they chuck up garbage and miss 10 shots in a row and nothing happens the whole simulation. At least this year good players can hit tough buckets even if the ai doesn’t play very smart still
Really good idea for the video. I’d love to see something like this including some of the historic draft classes like 03. However, it would be crazy to not include the bad ones like 2000s just to see what kind of player teams will be willing to bet on.

You know what’s funny? I ended up rewatching the “every rookie on one team” video today because it auto played and you mentioned this video idea in it. Now this pops up as your upload today. Universe working lol.
This is pretty similar to the Indian Premier League (cricket) which is one of the most watched leagues across the world. But instead of rookies there is an auction of all players except for some that are tagged by their teams.

Soccer is the only sport I know doesn’t have a draft in leagues around the world. They have developmental academies that kids can join extremely young.

I got an idea for you. Try to get to the playoffs and win the chip with the 30th best offense and the 30th best defense in the regular season. You have to have really bad losses (like 60 to 130) and really close wins to achieve this. So before all the games you have to decide which players you want to play. Obviously, if you want to lose you just put the worst starting lineup out there possible with your roster.
I hope I explained it good enough.

the NBL in australia dont have a draft its pretty much just free agency. where each club can only sign a max of 3 imports. but most team have a development system to bring in the young guns.

Kenny, you might not see this but on the contract sliders, adjust the minimum and maximum to 100 and the rest to zero that’s how you get the best contracts
Do it where every player in the league is the same overall with same tendencies and badges and see if the simulation favors players and teams

Salary caps and draft are almost exclusive to american sports. Look at football (soccer), which is the most popular sport in the world, no draft or salary cap in any league (except USA, of course).
