Sir, why substation operators checking Positive to Earth voltage and Negative to Earth voltage of 110 V battery voltage?

To check whether positive and negative phase balanced or not . In normal condition Positive to earth and negative to earth voltage are possibly same. But when any earth fault happens either Positive earth ir negative earth in that case voltage not balanced.

Discharging me cell ka voltage 1.85v ke kam ku nahi kar sakte but 1.85v ese kam hota hai to kya effect hoga

Up to 1.85 v the cell is in healthy camical reaction conditions, if it reduce from 1.85 the the life of cell affect....
