Okay, first of all, thank you for the video. Secondly, I just purchased my first piece of Larimar a couple of days ago from a trusted lapidary friend. It's a slab similar to the one you showed. It hasn't even arrived yet, and two more pieces have basically fallen into my lap. A bit of rough from another friend and a beautiful teardrop pendant in sterling silver given to me randomly by a family member. I just woke up and received a notification about your video, this video about Larimar. I know it's all coincidence, but it's beginning to get weird. It's like this is Larimar week, and for some reason, God or the universe thinks I just need to have more Larimar in my life. It's off to another weird day. Thank you for the info. I didn't know it was exclusively a Dominican thing. Maybe I should call my old best friend who is Dominican 🇩🇴 🤔 Have a great day.

I have a question for you Paul. Why is it that some gems, like emerald/the beryl's can be so massive in size. While some gems like alexandrite seem to have an upper limit on their size that we find, like how you're rarely going to get more than a carat out of a cut piece of rough alexandrite. (not that there aren't some that are larger, but they are generally much smaller than something like the beryl's. Thanks :)
