2. And this lawyer is grateful for the opportunity to represent DT...? Like seriously...?! (Of course, everyone deserves to have a decent lawyer and the best representation they can get, even mass murderers do, right?) But I have never seen any lawyer representing a despicable individual like DT and him alike - he is a thug, an insurrectionist, a liar, a fraud, a tax cheat, the biggest threat to democracy in the country - publicly saying that they are grateful for such an "opportunity" to represent such a person!
You, lawyers, are a special breed, indeed. As professionals, you have the biggest influence on where this country is going. No other profession as a whole can compare to you. And some of you are deeply decent people with an unerring moral compass (Mark Elias is the first one who comes to my mind).
I'm pretty sure that such a BS(!) like representing DT and then, publicly saying he's grateful for that opportunity would never even cross his mind.
And then, there are the others... like this "gentleman," who, vice versa, is grateful for such an "opportunity"😞... O tempora, o mores...!"

However, I would question the judgment of any lawyer (other than a court-appointed one) who agrees to represent him, seeing as he won't pay, won't listen to advice, and will pressure them to violate ethics rules and put themselves at risk of disbarment.
