I got in two of the latest Toledo Kayak Anglers (smaller group) tournaments in the last 2 months. Caught 2 in one and one jumped off in the 2nd! Can't wait till next year, it's a blast even if I don't place😊
Great video! You pretty much gave me the same advice in a previous reply to a comment and I'm taking that advice. Will fish my first tournament this month! I was wondering how to attach the little identifiers, now I know. Thanks!
Hey, did you get a 4 inch or 8 inch extension for the rotogrips outside the hobie rod holders? I purchased the rod holders and I have a double rotogrip on my lynx in the track below my hrail and want to extend it out past my rods to hold my paddle. Thank you. ❤
I don't have a rotogrip with my rod holders, I just use these for my horizontal rod storage and paddle storage: strictlysailinc.com/products/hobie-h-rail-rod-rack-horizontal-rod-storage?_pos=1&_sid=d6f83fc98&_ss=r

Great advise it’s normal to feel intimidated at your first event, just do it and the next event will be even easier 🎣

That's great you aren't skunking! I only got three 12" bass in the last one, but it was a great learning experience!
Great video! I think im ready except for a net. I hope to still get in a tournament or two this year.
Really good information to help getting started in tournaments.
Thanks! I have enjoyed being part of this tournament stuff so much, I really want to encourage people to give it a try!

Asked before about gear and I want to know what you have for depth finder and the investment of the item.

You can do it without a net, it just makes life so much easier.
