- EVERY SINGLE Species From Underworld Explained (All Films & Books). The biggest explanation on all of the supernatural species, Vampires, Werewolves, Lycans, Hybrids, genetically enhanced Lycans, spiritual Vampires who can travel to the other side, I'm going cover them all in todays video. Wasn't Alexander Corvinus 's immortality caused by an unknown plague he survived rather than being born immortal?
Eve is not a neutral hybrid because her mother is a full vampire(don't pay attention that Seline is a Corvinus vampire) and her father is half-lycan/half-vampire. Eve 75% vampire, 25% lycan.
One thing that always bothered me since the second underworld movie was the whole Viktor being afraid of Marcus going rogue and going for his brother. If Viktor was so worried why set up a system where he and Emalia are asleep and just waiting for Marcus to betray them??
The Nordic ocven's speed that makes them looks like mist, has got to b why vampires were said to have the power to turn into mist, in Underworldverse. I wonder what a spiritual lycan would uptained. I always thought Andreas Tanis was given lycan bodyguards. In a behind the scene with the 1st movie, they wanted to make the hybrid form more hairy but it would've been expensive. Selene did have hybrid white colored eyes in the 2nd film after taking Alexander's blood, but that has stopped there.
A few things to add: Alexander Corvinus demonstrates the same "information sorting" ability as the Vampire Elders sorting through blood memories when he listens to multiple police reports in multiple languages and identifies the one pertaining to Selene. As to pureborn Vampires, they seem to have the potential to rival the original Elders in power, since Singe put them in the same category of "pureness" for the Vampire strain and Sonja managed to best Viktor in a fight.
Werewolf’s do have some self control as seen when they meet lucian in the cave. Also the guards that guard the exiled vampire (can’t remember his name) are Lycian not werewolves. They don’t have the muzzle of werewolves.

Theirs a possibility that underworld vampires could reproduce with humans I’d always wonder what their version of a Dhampir look like
it may be that only “pure-blooded” vampires, that is, those who have the strongest part of Corvinus’ DNA, can have children: Victor and Amelia were changed by Marcus himself (could they technically be his "children") and were considered pure-bloods, had children Sonya and David; Michael CORVIN (everything is clear here) and Seline (became a pure-blooded by drinking the blood of A. Corvinus) have a daughter, Eve. No other Born Vampires are known.

I know someone already pointed this out but wasn't it a plague that mutated Alexanders genes or mutated in his genes and thats what made him immortal? Actually I'm sure that's what it was and thats why he's older because it happened when he came home to his village, he was a warlord. Also were Tanis guards full Werewolf? They didn't have the skinny long muzzle like full werewolves in Rise of the Lycans, they looked like Lycans. And it would've been great to see Lucian and William either side by side or fighting

Lucien was not the first lycan , William was the first lycans, Lucien was just the first one to take human after William turn his mother and him at the same while she was pregnant with him, so he was just the first to take human form again and turn at the full moon again
