3:00 - The Wii destroying medicine made them Switch (dunno if that's a deliberate joke vs just a play on ennui, but I saw it pointed out elsewhere) 7:10 There's an extra bit in the manga where Hakari and Kusuri are envious of each others' bodies. Hakari b/c Kusuri can cuddle up to Rentarou whenever she wants no problem, Kusuri because of this scene. 13:15 - There's a later manga chapter where Rentarou goes out with Karane, Kurumi, and a not-yet-introduced-in-the-anime girlfriend on a "tsunderesque date" that compares and contrasts their variations of tsundere.
@andryzoun That part I figured, though I didn't know the original joke. I always figure comedy, especially wordplay, is tough to translate for precisely this sort of situation. The fan translation of the manga uses "fatigue" and "fajita"
In Japanese the joke about the name of the drug was a play on words, which is why the subs had to change it. Kusuri was accidentally saying kentakki (referring to KFC) instead of kentaiki (ennui). 😂
I love this show, its so funny and silly but I love that Rentauro is just a good guy who does care about these super cute girls, he's not a jerk, creep, pervy MC like other harem or isekai animes
3:30 Your Name is an anime movie where they swap bodies. The song that played was one of the OSTs of Your Name
Oh nice! We will have to check it out

The Wii joke is for the english translation whereas in Japanese she desperately wanted to say Kentucky (KFC) instead of kentaiki (stage of ennui)

Thanks for explaining these! Really enjoy understanding more about these translations so we can better understand the jokes.
We got more cameo's for future girlfriends, season 3 showing up a little early in this episode.
