POSTCAST: Alec Bohm hits GW 2-run double in 11th, Philadelphia Phillies beat the Orioles, 5-3!

The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Orioles, 5-3 in 11 innings Friday night! Kyle Schwarber led off the game with his 14th home run of the season and his third in his last 4 games. Catcher, Rafael Marchan also homered for the Phillies, his first of the season and his first long ball since August 31st 2021.
Ranger Suarez tossed 6.2ip of 1-run baseball before being taken out for Jeff Hoffman in the 7th. Hoffman was able to keep the O’s from crossing the plate.
Matt Strahm came on in relief in the 8th and surrendered his first earned run since opening day. The run came by way of an Anthony Santander solo homer, thay tied the game at 2.
In the 10th, the Phillies grabbed a 3-2 lead on a Kyle Schwarber RBI single to right field. Then Orion Kerkering allowed the Orioles to tie that game at 3 and force an 11th inning.
Then the rain’s came! The Phils and O’s had to halt play for an hour and eleven minutes between the 10th and 11th innings.
Alec Bohm would drive in the game winning runs on a 2-run double in the 11th and SerAnthony Dominguez closed out the bottom of the inning to lock in the win.
Segment 1: THREE BIG THINGS: 1) Philadelphia TOOK OVER Camden Yards! Sounded like a Phillies home game. 2) Rafael Marchan, great defense AND a homer! 3) The outside corner of the plate (to lefties) it was the star of the show. Getting called 3rd strikes throughout the game. Honorable Mention, Alec Bohm for coming up with the Big Hit and Kyle Schwarber for his 3rd homer since coming back from London.
