Hey, Mr. You've nailed it right on my face. it happen like a miracle. I can't believe it. I hit the highest notes I have never ever sung before. For the first time I have fallen in love with my voice after 8years of struggling and disappointment. All along did not understand vocal chords compression

This guy is a fucking legend. I'm here after the latest single dropped. He's 73 and still kicking ass.

Hey buddy ever do any Elvis vids like early elvis. The problem is he ad libs everything so maybe a video on ad libbing. The hardest singers for me to emulate arw good ad libbers like James brown, Elvis, Al green marvin gaye etc..

I have done straw exercises, etc… it’s like anything that you need to be understood. Trying to figure out how to sing is like going to Dr. Google for treatment.

Great video, thank you! Thing is: Even when I manage to compress at a place above my vocalchords, my vocalchords still seem to wear out quickly. When I talk afterwards, my voice sounds really fryish, like I just got up. How do you compress without affecting the primary chords?

I wouldn’t focus quite as much on “compressing” as trying to make the sounds. In a sense get out of your head and just experiment. A lot of this should feel more like “release” than it does tension. Go easy on your voice and keep trying different things. You’ll find new spaces all the time. I still do.
