The Leinster Football Championship, such as it is, should be discontinued. Dublin have won 23 titles since 1992. The GAA stubbornly refuses to accept that Leinster is no more than a 'training warm-up' for Dublin. The other 3 Provincial Titles, Ulster in particular, are way more competitive. It is unfair that so many good teams in Ulster are eliminated from the Sam Maguire while Dublin have their usual stroll through the pathetic competition in Leinster. To be clear Dublin are NOT the problem - their provincial rivals have proved themselves incapable of mounting anything close to being competitive.

So your saying that they should get rid of the Leinster Football Championship because every team in Leinster is shite compared to Dublin? I say your right, but then what do they do? They can put the other counties in the other provinces but what about Dublin? You can't really do anything. You can't just leave them out but you can't just bring them somewhere else where they'll dominate with only like 3 teams against them. Idk

@@senreg25 One ideal solution is to remove Dublin from Leinster and allow them to compete in the Munster Championship because that solves 2 problems: The Dubs have no competition in Leinster plus Kerry have no competition in Munster so with Dublin and Kerry competing in the Munster Championship from next year onwards would be a good move.

@raymondbutler834 But it gives the teams a chance to improve. Dublin wasn't always the best, those teams just have to keep working on their weaker areas. It's not really fair for Dublin either. "Hey your not aloud to compete anymore in this championship because your too good." There will always be a team that's in some way better than the others but that gives the other teams something to work on yk?

@@senreg25 Sadly my fear would be the GAA keeping Dublin in the Leinster Championship next year because they got a false sense of security a few weeks ago that "Dublin only beat Louth by 4 points" yet it resulted in Dublin's 14th consecutive Leinster Title. Why wait in a few years when Dublin complete 20 Leinster Titles in a row for the GAA to react? If Galway hurlers compete in Leinster for their provincials, why can't Dublin compete in Munster for their provincial title? These Leinster games have become glorified training sessions / kickabouts for several years now. If Dublin are allowed to dominate Leinster unopposed for the forseeable future then attendances at these Leinster games will rightfully diminish well below 10,000 to the point you'll probably only get close friends and family members of the Dubs and other Leinster teams attending.

@raymondbutler834 Galway along side Carlow (I think) only compete in Leinster because the other counties in Connacht don't have hurling teams. Plus, Dublin fans probably rake up the most amount of money for the gaa so if Dublin are moved so Munstet for example I doubt they would have that many fans going to the games. More people can fit in croke park and Dublims the largest city. Croke is usually ALWAYS filled with Dubs fans and only really has huge number of the opposition if they live near to croke park or its something big like an all ireland final. Again, I know Dublin dominate any Leinster team they come across but can't remove them for their skill. The other counties just need to work harder is all
