He also holds the post of secretary of Delhi Nephrology Society and also an executive member of Indian society of Nephrology. Sir my friend aged 45 years male diabetic with hba1c 6.1 and with bp. Current egfr is 63 and creatinine is 1.44. 1 year back egfr was 75 and creatinie was 1.38. ultra sound normal, no blood in the urine no protien in the urine no swelling in the legs no skin issues perfectly fit but doctor advised him to go for kidney biopsy sir my question is there a need for kidney bioplsy and how it is related to cancer only if egfr is dropping without causing any health issues.

risk of bleeding is there. biopsy should be done after stopping this medicine. ask your nephrologist to do PLA2R Ab test, if it is positive u might not need biopsy and treatment can be done without biopsy

Hello sir, My mother is suffering from protein leakage urine, 24hr urine protein leakage is 1834 mg. Creatinine is 0.81, We had done several tests i.e ANA, PT,APTT, Lipid profile, Chyluria, CBC, Urine culture etc... But all reports are came negative. After then doctor suggest us to do Renal biopsy test, then we also done that test, after some days report has been came, in that report,. 1. Global tuft sclerosis in 12/34 (35.2%) of the glomeruli and segmental segmental sclerosis in 1/34 glomeruli.
2. DIF studies do not show significant glomerular immune deposits.
Plz advice what does that means. Kindly suggest us to cure. Plz sir help us to cure my mother.
