Chapter IV - The Chase
Haelorian had recovered it's old Strength and light and was stronger than ever. However, while Ghaen tribe had focused on rebuilding his legendary stronghold, Rystiria's forces recovered their strength in Rockgard Citadel.
Rystiria was unwilling to lose its supremacy, and pretended to reconquer Haelorian. His new army, invoked from the underworld, marched across the plains of Keltiar. But she didn't want to command the army blindly to a certain death. So She took her three best explorer riders and sent them to Haelorian.
The guards of the east watchtower sighted three riders of the underworld and suddenly sounded the war horn. Samhain lifted his bow and spear, and rode into the woods on his mount, Álainn.
The Rhiannon, chased the three horsemen of hell. The underworld mounts were extremely fast, but the arrows of Samhain were even faster. The gallop of the four animals was so thundering that the pursue sounded as a reel played on a bodhran.
Samhain pursued the explorers across the woods, guiding them into a trap, to the edge of the woods, where the oaks met the cliff of Owenriver. It was a wide cliff, but the explorers had no choice but to jump the cliff if they wanted to to escape. It seemed impossible to reach the other side of the cliff but the three underworld riders tried it first and then, Shamhain. One of them fell into the abyss, and another lost his balance when he reached the other side, in that moment the Rhiannon put an arrow in his head.
The first two riders died quite fast, but the third was more skilled than the rest. He was Rarghont, commander of Rystiria's army. That day, he scaped from The Rhiannon's arrows and reached the marching army, because she had to turn around and gallop Haelorian after seeing what he saw.

This is really good! I really love the bagpipes and the flutes. This music definitely has an adventurous atmosphere to it.

Great mood, my favourite instruments that I look for in those kind of composition.
I also think that the SFX like the horse shoes or the birds might sound small but is a big extra to the song. It really puts you in the action and makes you feel like you were escaping from them.

Thanks Peter! I bought Action Strings last summer, and I have used it in a lot of previous compositions too (since 1741:the last stand I think) but I expected much more from it... I think it's too expensive for the few rythms it contains. But in fact it's very usefull and makes the work of composing easier!
btw, have you tried action Strikes?, it looks good also.

Yes, you're right, I've been desapointed by the few rythms too. And I think you mean "True Strike" :D. If so, no I don't have it because I have the Epic Dhol from 8Dio, and this library is perfect for me, I just couldn't expect more from an epic percussion library ! :)

OH YEAH, you mean the new NI library Action Strike ! I saw the ad everywhere on youtube but I didn't remember it :D ! It seems really awesome but I don't plan to buy it.... for now ;)

And yeah it's exactly the same as Action Strings but for percs (Percussion loops that you can play among several prhases).

No, solo hice el arreglo orquestal. De todos modos es un arreglo de un slip jig tradcional irlandes, llamado "The Butterfly". Solo que yo alargué el 9/8 a un 12/8. Seguro que puedes encontrar alguna versión solo con flauta en youtube. Un saludo!

Bueno, la cosa avanza. En general como tema está muy bien, es más genérico que cinemático (el tema habla de una escena sin concreciones), muy equilibrado y variado por otra parte. Una duda, ¿el texto que pones en la info lo tienes completo o planeas una versión extendida? (es verdad que, como dijiste, si lo piensas hacer bilingue eso sería complicado, de todos modos) Sigue así!!

El texto de la info es la historia completa (no es ni mucho menos una novela, pero es lo que buscaba para aclarar la historia que se cuenta con la musica), la ire traduciendo poco a poco (es mas me pongo ahora a ello)por que me parece una pena que mis seguidores de habla hispana se lo pierdan ( aunque no sean muchos me apoyan y eso se agradece, asique a currar)

***** Amm a lo que me refería con genérico es que capta la idea de persecución por un bosque, pero poniendo menos relevancia a la escena que se narra en el relato; por ejemplo, si esto fuera una escena de cine, seguramente se pondría énfasis en música siniestra cuando se presenta a los exploradores y sus caballos infernales, o cuando su líder consigue escapar. De todos modos, piensa que hace falta mucha maquinación para concebir y llevar a la práctica algo así, y que es más complicado plasmar un relato escrito en música que una escena viva con actores, por ejemplo.
Por cierto, ¿has pensado en ampliar tu historia y enviarla a alguna revista o blog literario? podría ser interesante. Saludos.
Cristian Moreno Ríos Es cierto, el problema es que yo cuando me planteé hacer esto, pensé en una historia, pero pensé lo más basico. Luego compusé los temas y bueno, ahora unos dias antes de subir el video relato la historia(es decir, hasta ahora tenia pensado lo basico, y poco a poco voy escribiendolo).
Que es lo que pasa entonces? Pues que a veces escribo mas de lo que la escena (composición) cuenta en realidad, para no dejar cabos sueltos.
Tienes mucha razon en lo de que es mas dificil de plasmarlo en algo escrito que en una escena de pelicula, si. Porque como dijo Hans Zimmer: en una pelicula, conoces lo que va a suceder, conoces como se va a plasmar y conoces al protagonista. Esto él lo usaba para decir que componer para un videojuego es mas dificil que para una pelicula. Y si lo piensas bien, con un libro es exactamente igual: Si, sabes la historia, pero cada uno se monta su mundo en la cabeza, y al protagonista, crees conocerlo, pero cuantas veces no acabas siendo tu ese personaje? Y yo no conozco a cada lector ;) pues pasa exactamente lo mismo!
La verdad que no voy a ampliarla (Creo que he escrito mas de lo que en un primer momento me plantee, y la verdad me ha gustado, pero no tengo que olvidar que lo mio es la musica), y lo de enviarla a revistas o blogs, ni se me habia pasado por lacabeza. Quizas seria una buena forma de darme un poco a conocer. Ya que tu eres escritor, te gustaria ampliarla por tu cuenta? yo te doy via libre. Por eso no te preocupes. Solo si estas interesado, dimelo
