my mom told me when she was young, she went to one getai and her friends went to sit on the front row which she followed as back then they went without any adults, they weren't familiar with what were the things that shouldn't be done. the staff at the getai said that they cant sit here except for my mom. in the recent years she told me and was puzzled on why. she felt that was it because she was born in the 7th month or because she lost her dad when she was 9 and her mom when she was 21. I love this channel as it's very informative, usually when heard others said, everyone's story wasn't the same which often mislead the whole idea of it.
Both Liu Ling Ling and Yang Guang Kele are funny. 58:39 - LOL @ Yang Guang Kele when she was asked, " How did that little village in Indonesia find you?" and she answered, " ... because I am famous." And then she gave out a coarse cheeky laughter. She had me laughing there. 🤣🤣🤣
oh i like this segment so much. the getai singers and the hosts are really good. i hope you will make more of these interesting and educational videos. it's really worth watching. and also not forgetting i am a true horror fan. hope to see more horror content from this channel.
I’ve seen the puppet shows in the 90s too. Remember when I was a kid, I’d always look out of my kitchen window to watch the puppet shows. Never really understood the story it was trying to show though. Missed those days.
Its all about respect. U don’t believe is fine. U are from other religion is fine. But don’t disrespect other religions & belief. On another note the pairing of Joey & Jaz is perfect sia, the chemistry. Doesn’t hurt that Jaz is hot AF 🤣
when ever ling ling jie is on stage singing and u take her pics or videos on stage. the feels are there. like a underworld queen commanding her army ! like a matriarch of a kingdom. every one / or neither ones will watch her respectfully. I don't see it as she is 1st. but she as a veteran that commands respect from humans and spirits. also you cannot sing bao today songs. is like u saying he will arrive and the spirits will get angry. " cos we just come out from there and u singing that he is coming. "
Yes the sound for this episode was abit off because we were filming underneath MRT tracks, the interference from the trains might have affected our recording frequencies.
