বাংলাদেশ-মালয়েশিয়া সর্ম্পক নতুন উচ্চতায় নিতে দুই দেশ একমত হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস। মালয়েশিয়ার প্রধানমন্ত্রী আনোয়ার ইব্রাহিমের সঙ্গে বৈঠক শেষে যৌথ সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ কথা জানান তিনি। কাজের অনুমতি পেয়েও যেতে না পারা ১৮ হাজার কর্মীকে দ্রুত নেয়ার বিষয়টি বিবেচনার আশ্বাস দেন আনোয়ার ইব্রাহীম। জানান, রোহিঙ্গা প্রত্যাবাস ইস্যুতে ঢাকাকে সহায়তা করবে কুয়ালালামপুর।

He said this at a joint press conference after the meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Anwar Ibrahim assured to consider the matter of taking the 18 thousand workers who could not go even after getting work permit. He said that Kuala Lumpur will assist Dhaka in the issue of Rohingya repatriation.
