I think the animators just forgot what silver star of execution does.
It's not just a cage it's supposed to be constantly shooting sharp mercury from all directions at the person caged too like it did dark patry.
Found it odd that nozel just opted for a non offensive cage.

This fight just shows how smart fuegoleon is, how underatted jack is, how much of a great support kaiser is. How versatile Nozel is, how much strong william actually is, how dangerous dorothy glamour world can be and how much op Yami is to the point he broke a real dimension but make his team win and lose the same time.
And how much Tsun Charlotte has in her system

They do have a new budget they've announced it on the trailer when the anime returned they mentioned how new animation is coming with high quality fights and a new story
Not budget but more time to axually work in the episode' and not relly on outsourcing. A better schedule means more in House episodes meaning the talented members of the team are in more episodes 136,140,145,148,151,153 that is 6 pierrot episodes in less than 2 months.

There is so much detail all over the fight scenes, but can we appreciate the brief moment at 0:34 when Nozel and Kaiser notice Yami's in danger and spring into action. There is a certain aesthetic to this brief moment with Nozel's movement that I LOVE.

@@jaydenbordes5750 the way her elf counterpart snatched half of the bulls house and captured a group of black bulls, must mean her range is quite long. Scythe guy simply caught her off guard and she prob couldn’t react and may be just surprised. But I think her range is like a bubble and shes the center if she did try to get the scythe guy should would’ve also brought her ally and the crystal with her too which might cause problems in the dream world where everything can be destructive

@@thund3r682 She already is the most hax, she just isn't the most battle hardened captain, which can limit her. Reality warpers like her tend to be not the best of fighters but their hax more than makes up for it. It is hard to see any other captain besides maybe William breaking out of glamour world. I say William specifically because like Yami his magic is arcane and World Tree magic has power to transcend worlds...so possible it can get him out, but may be a stretch.
@@Ephideltrance I'd say it's a stretch due to spatial magic being a hard magic to counter depending on the user. Dorothy's Glamor World has more room than any spatial user with a similar function to the point it looks boundless. Really is the most slept on.
@@Ephideltrance keep in mind that Jack comes out of glamor world in this sceen and that's why she was so surprised. She didn't expect him to be able to cut through the spell.

Maybe they are captain level it’s just that these captains are that op. That’s not even counting how BROKEN Devils probably are
I guess it depends on what you consider Captain Level. Yuno, by the end of the Zagred fight with both his elf power-up and the Spirit of Zephyr, could probably beat the Rill he fought at the Royal Knights Selection Exam, but Rill's since got stronger too, so...who knows.
Still think their captain level but like low tier captain level. So, at the level of Rill, Charlotte, and Kaiser (purple orcas captain).

I disagree if asta noelle and yuno fought these any of these captains beside art guy they would lose. Every single captain either has a broken ability or an okay ability with really good intellect. For example Charlotte would beat all of them not because she’s more powerful but because she utilizes her abilities the most.

We should be aware of some things as fans.
1. This episode looks good because of a good schedule, a good director, and many freelance animators. They all worked very hard.
2. Starting on episode 153, the anime will begin to go into the heart kingdom training, choosing the people that participated.
3. While this looks good, keep in mind that BC does not have many episodes like this, but if the schedule improves, we can potentially get more quality consistently.

Wow, this fight scene is really epic and the art is phenomenal.
This episode was so good, the animation was on point. It was just 20 minutes of great work from the animators, I felt like a fan boy again threw the entire fight, they really stepped up their game and it was amazing. This episode is without a doubt my favorite in the filler arc and the best episode they have produced in a while, hope the animation just goes up from here

This whole sequence was phenomenal and totally necessary. The power balance was pretty damn good and there wasn't really much held back from each of their abilities, except if I had to choose one who was under utilized it would be charlotte. But she not weak, just needing a definitive power move or skill.
It established/emphasized:
- established Jack as super dangerous and much stronger than most of us probaby thought
- emphasized Nozel's magic having many purposes and how well he works with team mates
- Showed more the extent of Fuegolion's power
- Established Kaiser as great support/defensive and helpful team player. His cooperation and combinations of magic with Nozel was great.
- Emphasized Dorothy's power and capability and makes you really wonder the extent of what she could do
- Established Vangeance as nearly untouchable in battle. Srsly, no one even touched him. Also showed how big a powehouse he is in a team combat setting. I dont imagine him having the strongest offensive power, but is probably the best in support/defensive ability
- Obvsly we already know how strong Yami is cuz hes had the most fights out of the captains. However, this fight to me managed to show subtly how much the other captains are aware of his strength. Charlotte prevented Yami from using a blade attack and later on Dorothy took him to Glamour world. Two efforts meant to make him as least effective on the battlefield as possible, which worked id say cuz he wasnt able to help his team in protecting the crystal or attacking the other for much of it.
Srsly cant wait for more like this. I know not everything from here on will be like this but if they can make the big moments like this than that'd be amazing.
Forgot to mention, but it also indirectly shows that Yami can compete with Vangeance, the strongest captain. His equinox cut through glamour world and the real world, actually having cut the entire tree that Vangeance made in half.
If he was given the time to charge up an attack by having Nozel and Kaiser protect him than he couldve cut the crystal and anyone or any spell that tried to stop the attack. Srsly Dorothy couldve died i think if she didnt dodge the slice last millisecond.

Possibly one of the best filler episodes in anime and one of my favorite fights in Black Clover.
0:26 When Charlotte’s vines grabbed Yami, that smirk she gave was the first time she smiled at him without running away. She clearly loves the battlefield and of course Yami.
I really like Dorothy with her eyes wide open. She looks so cute.
I love those moment's that address how long Yami's magic takes to produce, and how vulnerable it can make him if he doesn't keep moving.

I think we should praise a little Kraiser. The guy wasn't much of a captain so far, he knew all the others were stronger than him, and yet he made his stand. He was weaker, but not that much and was still able to bring a good support. A Finral-like character.

Basically my expression when hearing the blue rose knights wanted a sparring session with the Black Bulls. They don't have a "few" good members but everyone of them are home run hitters when facing the right situation.
