I'm about to start treatment for IV grade lymphoma and totally scared but your fight inspires me. I really hope your treatment is finally working, you're such a positive young man! My dad is also battling esophageal cancer stage 3, he is undergoing chemo hoping the chemo works for him , then the doc has suggested esophagectomy. Alsio, what you mentioned in the previous update is exactly correct I have seen how my dad has gotten pretty rough with this chemo, you are basically napping all day and if there is a chance that you don't make it then this new treatment is the better option. Also, whatever someone's views maybe whatever you decide will be the better option, just stay close with your loved ones they help you a lot in making tough decisions. Again, hoping you get out of this mess as soon as possible. Whatever it may be we will always remember you buddy. :-)
I think it’s wonderful your esophagus isn’t blocked anymore. It could have been a lot worse. Maybe a transfusion will make you feel better. Praying for you. 🙏💐

It has been know for a tumor in the esophagus to break away and leave a raw area behind it. Because you swallow food, drink etc it can make the tumor bed loosen, also coughing, sneezing etc. if it has then at least it’s opened up the throat a bit. Hope you feel better soon and that things go well over the next few days and you get home really soon.
So sorry youll be spending memorial day but much better than halloween or your wedding day. Praying for you daily very grateful the tumor has disappeared, take the trade for an ulcer anyday. Thanks for keeping us posted. Keep your head up!

Because this could be a good sign, I mean not finding a big tumor can't be bad news? Do tumors change positions or go into hiding? Not sure what to make of it but it feels like it's a good thing. Hope you get to go home soon, hospital stay is never fun but it's almost like there was a silver lining with this news? The transfusion is not as bad as you might think, if you end up needing it. I am sooo wishing you a speedy recovery and more annihilated tumors and cancer spots! Be safe and no more splatter unless on dvd or halloween :-D

My good friend Eric passed away from stage 4 esophageal cancer. He had just started chemotherapy when what just happened to you happened to him emidiatly after his 3rd treatment. It looked like he threw up blackened coffee grounds. He passed away that very day after that incident. My heart is with you and I will continue to pray for you. I am a cancer survivor myself and I am 10 years in remition ( knock on wood) big hugz and stay strong and keep fighting the good fight my friend
