What a crazy amount of anchor chain, and one poor little s/s screw was supposed to hold all of that?
Never wrap a line around your hand when pulling the unknown, especially with more than one pulling something heavy
There is a reason they never use stainless steel shackles in the lifting industry better off using rated galvanised shackles instead and they are cheap as chips to replace.
Could have floated the anchor with a fender. Not sure what you guys call them. The bumper used to keep the boat from rubbing against the dock. I'm sure there's pics online.

Don’t use a stainless shackle with galvanized chain or vice Versa !!

That anchor hete in the UK is a delta 15 kilo ? Worth about 200 bucks your money and the 10mm or 3/8ths chain 20 bucks a lineal metre hete I would have left it and saved the fuel costs lol

Why didn't you use the windless on the boat you were on ????
We did that’s how we lost it but that boat wasn’t avail for recovery purposes
@@YouFishTV O it looked like the recovery boat had a windless on it
Only reason I say this is I have done this before with my boat . I replaced my anchor with the grapple and used the boat and the windless to do the work. It worked out great
