As the gates open on Wednesday to this year's Glastonbury festival on Wednesday, we follow the first group of festivalgoers, down a rocky trail and to the 'holy grail' of camping spots: Pennard Hill. Ayesha Patel, 25, a first-time festivalgoer from Birmingham, Daniel Keane, 25, and Luke Bugler, 26, stayed overnight outside the Glastonbury festival entrance to ensure their pick of the best camping areas.
That first guy, defo straight to the campsite n racking up
1 minute 15 seconds "awww free bag", that was me! We queued from 8.30pm and were about 7th in the queue :)
the guy with the wheelbarrow means business
That is definitely me in the beanie at 0:41
yeah I didn't get that either?!
Mrr BUGLER!!! boss name!
first onenumber 7?
Sorry for calling anyone a wanker (not nice!) each to their own! Hope you enjoyed it, what was your highlight?
@ 3:00 you say it was dead easy but Pennard Hill was THE most overcrowded place on site...your tent did NOT have that much space a few days in...silly mistake that...get as far to the back as possible....yes its a walk when you get off the coach/car etc but a couple of days in its worth the hassle....Pennards Hill is a place to get raided and enclosed....Think!!!
Hey Mate, I go and I don't do queueing, take your own beer, wander around to find empty loo, sorted! My guess is that you have never experienced it before? :)
do you have to bring your own wheel barrows
Yeah
learnt that the hard way
First one! number 7!
cool
lol.. What do YOU consider good music?
You guessed wrong then Su. I've been very lucky enough to attend every year since 1999 (11 times) I didn't go this year 'cos of the birth of my daughter, what we used to do was load the car right up with crates of cider and beer and a few bags if fire wood and a spare cheap 1 man tent to keep the wood dry and stop other people nicking it and a sack barrow and we would often do at least 2-3 trips, with a sack-barrow and industrial cling film, very hard work but well worth it!
you clearly didnt get a ticket and have no idea what youre on about pal.
