Reminds me of that Asian (forget the origin, Japanese or Chinese) automaton of a lady shooting arrows. Cute small, very delicate, would be nice if the two were in the same room, that'd be a very interesting contrast.
In the murder mystery version of this video the Prime Minister is watching a demonstration of this toy. No one is aware that the arrow is poison tipped and the trajectory has been altered.
Well, I clicked on this video fully expecting to see a puppet kill someone with his arrows. I have been horribly misled - I demand my 2:07 back! But seriously, that would make a pretty cool murder mystery... ;D

In your automaton, the draw (which is rather short) is achieved by bow hand pushing forward. The action of picking up the arrow is superb.
Imagine being drugged, tied to a chair and waking up in half light to see this thing taking aim at you with its arrows.
What a bizzare mind you have...

I thought this too
The genius of this.

those are japanese automata, they are colled karakuri ningyo (karakuri = mechanism and ningyo = doll)
that'd be this one :) ruclips.net/video/i5zYK9FxORI/видео.html
Only a genius could create something like this!
Original automata was a japanese creation from 19th century
Wow. What a well made Automaton
"You'll shoot your eye out!"
Scary as hell!

tal vez seria buena idea agregar en la imagen en que año fueron elaborados estos automatas.
1979
Superbly interesting.
He is So WONDERFUL

Nobody will suspect the mechanical puppet. The perfect murder. It'll let the usual Butler suspect off the hook.
Wow !!
Amazing technology.
Very interesting and cool
Is more complex then the real Japan arrow shooter automata or is just a reproduction on a larger scale ?
Robin Wood shot his own eye out.
Can you show more smoking automata
I'll have a nightmare
Is it real the auto gears do all this action ,i think it's difficult
Very interesting
It's all fun until you see it walking at night hunting you
Fabulous
Very cool
You put your eyeee out!
😂
Cara que maneiro isso, que complicado criar um sistema desses...
Greate!
Wow
Super
Keep him away from the display cabinet and mantleshelf ornaments.
Creepy lvl 10 000
Wonderful mechanics, but the shooting action is horribly wrong .
Please show us how you would improve the mechanism?
@@arburo1 not shooting in order to not hurt somebody i think.
