This is what I started on, had no real interest in getting too serious about it just wanted to start the hobby because I was getting pretty good at DJing and wanted to mix my own stuff. About a year into my journey at this point. Now I spend 4+ hours a day in the dark staring at an ableton document

The moment, that I want to be that guy who makes merchandise of his channel, cuz I'm doing this FLM thing for so long 😅. It's a pretty handy app tho, the work flow for me it's good, it just don't have the same synth possibilities as a normal DAW.
It's just so that you can get your thoughts down quickly.
And for that with even auto tune, so many simple but good and tweekable sounds it's perfect.
I often use to record and summ something but when you've got a few minutes (and you get faster from time to time) you can make a quick beat and sing in the lyrics/melodie.
Just perfect if you need to get an idea together on the way.

FLM is INCREDIBLE for laying down the base layers of a song, if you can export it to desktop after the fact, you're probably able to finish songs faster than most

I started my music in FLM and made about 25 songs there. They were more or less really good after a while, but unfortunately it can't keep up with PC DAWs because when I switched to FL studio I was truly mind-blown and it surely improved everything.
Edit: To point out the main reason it's probably the missing vst plugin support and the limit to using loops.
Same here. I've been making songs in FLM and uploading to my SoundCloud page,, while I'm fixing my laptop and upgrading HDD to SSD. I like complexity in my songs. Unfortunately, everything begins sounding muddy after a while. Ohhh well. I need to get my laptop working again before I forget how to use the PC DAW and become too "comfortable" with FLM. // You can jump on ImageLine's User Forum (after logging into site or via FLM) to throw app enhancement ideas their way -- they seem fairly receptive. 😉
I'm having trouble with my snares and hi hats on a certain project nothing is muted and all volumes levels are adjusted the same way I left them and yet they won't play , do you have any idea why ?

@@DiscoRaven16 also the link is a drum based beat I use FL for Synthwave songs and nothing digital can beat a native vst plugin synth

For those saying you can only use loops? Not even close
For those saying the only possible way of making riddim or those kinda basses is to use samples, the GMS is extremely powerful, you have a FM, ring, sync
I've been using it for years so if you have any questions lmk, it's off... The sampler deeeefinitely needs to be fixed
But 3.0 is coming soon so a lot of the issues are being fixed
I agree that the guitars suck quite a bit, but if you put in a lot of effort you can fix them

I use FLM, it’s actually a pretty good DAW of you can learn to properly use it, bits it’s difficult

tbh if you dont limit yourself to what's in the app and load in your own sounds, you can pretty much make anything by using it as a sequencer for splice samples lmao

i used caustic 3 before. made lots of songs with it but it's not easy to use tho. it's far too dificult to use compared to any daw that i've used.
caustic is convinient but complicated for beginers

I used Caustic a lot and made tons of songs before I got FL Mobile. FL Mobile is better and easier for me to use and also, Caustic is not optimized for Android 11 anymore and it is very buggy now because the dev stopped working on it since 2017.

Fl studio mobile is way better that pc ect, the main reason people hate pc is because, it’s so complex, but fl mobile is more, simple. It doesn’t give you as much customization, but it gives you the main tools that you need. If you want fl studio, get it on your phone or tablet
