No offense to Jesse, but he's just like Ollie Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon: going for the most brutal growl. Howard, however, growls and sings beautifully. However, the big thing that got into KSE was Adam and Joel, being total comedians and badass players.
People used to be like "omg I want Jesse back" when Howard was the better vocalist. I think Jesse got 10x better, and now people are like "omg i want Howard back". Howard was declining, Jesse was getting better. I think the split worked out because they've always had the best vocalist.

That's because it's a DVD and they select the overall best performance out of their tour... but yeah I definitely agree with you there. I saw them in Kansas City last December and it was a TINY place and they sounded absolutely amazing. They sound so much better than most metal bands live.
love this song by KSE. i gotta say...Howard is a freakin' beast on the mic. He sounds as good on the album as he does live and his screams are sick. Too bad Adam couldn't have been there. At least the replacement guitarist made it seem like he wasn't missing, but it's still not the same.
