Your speaking style is lively and entertaining! I like your enthusiasm and the fact that you don't let it affect your objectivity in evaluating positions (like with the g6 lines).

It wasn't easy for me, but I managed to find 5 books that cover all the lines in detail. Technically black should be fine, but there are so many ways to surprise each other and it will never be that comfortable for black if you don't play it a lot!

Thank you! I believe that most black Scandi Players stop their prep after declining the gambit and refuting it by pawn e5. This vid keeps this opening choice alive for me

You can also play Blackmar-Diemer against the Scandi. Usually Scandi players aren't as prepared against the Diemer gambit

If someone ever forces me to play d4 this would be my go to for sure. Its almost as fun as e4

I'm sorry for being such a patzer, but why isn't this called the Whitemar-Diemer Gambit?

Because Blackmar and Diemer are the names of the chess masters who either discovered the gambit or were very influential in determining the lines.
