Bowie is the One!! He fell to Earth, more than once, according to the midwife who delivered him. She said "This boy has been on this earth before" So who is to say he won't come back a third time..... He is always with us....

Some one I know thought I was playing a cover song when I played Bowie's original. I nearly slapped him. Then with compassion; I remembered that he is younger than me, does not consider music magic, that "other" band is his keystone *and* he is my husband. :) Still though....... really? Come on..... He knows now as I play the actual record for him. Often.

The first "rock song" I ever heard was Changes, at the time we were living in Kenya, cause of my father's work, I was about 7 it was 1972, and a friend that come back from boarding school in England with the album Hunky Dory. Well that was it I was hooked!
Marcio Augusto Ambrosino nah he just like to change himself a lot, if you listen to his music you will know that he played all of his songs in a different way every time, actually there’s 70s version of this song but it was in a radio not in his album just like Nirvana which means maybe kurt liked it and played it that way , you can find it if you’re interested
Bowie played it just like on the album, so I think not. In fact, Nirvana played it that way except with Kurt taking a couple beats before singing the verses.

WTF?? This sounds like the album version. Kurt Cobain, that self-described whiny pissant, couldn't fit his entire body inside Mick Ronson's jockstrap.
