I CRAVE Bologna!!! The food! The food! The FOOD! It's the one place in Italy I am always craving to go back to. Green Pasta...Squacaroni...sparkling red...pasta for a straw! Who knew!?
Went to Bologna for 10 days back in late April/early May for the first time and the food was SOOO AMAZING! ❤❤ I remember the first thing I ate there, after a VERY long train ride (coming from Milan, first time on an Italian train, missed our stop and had to go all the way down to Rome and back -- it was terrible!), was the tortellini in brodo and it was so simple, but probably the most comforting thing I've ever eaten! And then it just went on and on with the great food after that: their local-style green lasagna, mortadella (especially with lots of other local meats/salame and tigelle), tagliatelle al ragu, gramigna all salsiccia (my wife was obsessed with this one and had it at several places!), all kinds of tortellini dishes (even fried -- which I know is tourist food, but really good!), balanzoni (the green tortelloni type pasta), etc. It was sooo hard to return to American food after all that! 😭😭
Great video in Bologna and Modena! You give great advice 👍🏼 Im Italian American and enjoy your adventures in Italia! I visit Italia often so i am always looking for good tips and new locations
