      Dear Nandakumar CP, Thank you for watching the video. The Irago Strait is narrow, both sides shallow, the central area is deep. Wind is strong, fog occurs. It is a dangerous strait.Navigation will be difficult.

      @@mariacornwallis1602 Yes... I've also worked on an oil tanker before. It was only about 180 meters, but it took the sea beautifully. We did run the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence River and Gulf of St. Lawrence. It's part of the North Atlantic. Being on an oil tanker was great for handling stormy weather.

    the new regulations to come for marine fuel emissions has a visible impact on the typical japanese ship design...
    They must build large chimneys to fit the exhaust gas scrubbers, where the caracteristic chimneys on japan build vessels are thin and high.
    I'm sure it was a heartbreak for people at JMU shipyard to design a vulgar Hyundai-like chimney for this beautiful VLCC🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      こんにちは、山崎さん。視聴していただき、ありがとうございます。伊勢湾沿岸には、四日市港に「昭和四日市石油」と「コスモ石油」の製油所があります。また名古屋港には「エネオス」の知多製造所があって石油化学製品の製造事業に特化しているほか、備蓄施設があります。積荷の送出は「伊勢湾」「昭和四日市石油」「コスモ石油」の各シーバースで行われます。この映像の「ENEOS ARROW」は四日市港のC錨地へ向け、伊良湖水道を北航しているところです。錨地からさらにコスモ石油のシーバースへシフトして原油を送出する予定でした。この「Test Plan」サイトにはそれぞれのシーバースの映像もありますので、よかったら参考にご覧くださいね。ご縁があって嬉しいです。

      船尾に「日の丸」が翻るのをみる時は、その潔さに胸が躍り、日本人として誇りさえ覚えます。伊良湖水道を通過する際、船籍旗を掲揚しないタンカーは多いようです。入港の時点では揚っているでしょうが。日本船籍のガスタンカーやバルカーは、やや風が強くてもほとんどが国籍旗を揚げていて、胸がジ~ンとします。つい、はためく「日の丸」を撮るシーンが長くなってしまいますよ。
