    Unfortunately Infiniti currently lineup can not even beat its old one. Fx and G were the golden generation

      It’s a shame. They were killing it back in the late 2000’s and early Teens. But I have hope things will change.

    Great video. I've been looking for a used vehicle and didn't really consider Infiniti, then I saw an '04 FX35 and started researching. Going to look and probably buy it this week😅. Awesome vehicle, now I want a M35X or G37Xs as well.

    Love my 2012 FX35. Only problem is I've spent 6 months and $1500 to try to clear a P2A04 range performance code. No luck yet.

    I would have expected them to put in the twin turbo 3.0 from the new z. Very disappointed in the new ones as a fx45 owner. Sounds like I'll be sticking with mine until it dies.

    Currently shopping for one of these, another to consider is the refreshed FX35 from 2009 to 2012. The revised 3.5L VQ makes 303bhp and 262 lb-ft of torque, so only marginally less compared to the FX37 and QX70 while sharing the same refreshed interior & exterior. I really want a Q50 3.7 sedan but lower back issues warrant getting a vehicle with easier ingress/egress.

    • @infinitioftacoma1
      @infinitioftacoma1  Год назад +2

      Yes the FX35 is a great one to consider as well, 2009-2012 model years very similar to the FX37 and QX70.

    Hello sir, what should i look for when buying a QX70/Fx37 when it comes to defects from the used market? And is it expensive to maintain?

    • @infinitioftacoma1
      @infinitioftacoma1  Год назад +4

      Since its a performance luxury vehicle it will cost to more to maintain than a Toyota or Honda, but compared to other luxury brands it is not that expensive to maintain. You want to look for one that has a regular service and oil change history. The steering racks can go bad its about $3k to replace, so you want to look for fluid leaks in the steering rack. The climate-controlled seats can fail and they are up to $3k-$4k to fix and the occupant sensors in the front seats can also go bad and that is about $1,000 to fix. Those are the most common issues, but overall, they are one of the best built and reliable products Nissan/INFINITI ever made.

    Great review mate! I'm looking on buying a 2013 fx37, What would be the first thing to check on a gt version with 100,000km (60,000miles) they are going here down under for around $14k to $17k USD
    Cheers!

    • @infinitioftacoma1
      @infinitioftacoma1  2 года назад +1

      Look out for a leaking steering rack and make sure you have good service history. Sometimes you can get mild oil seepage which is OK for older vehicles, you just dont want to see fresh oil leaking. If it was ever overheated at some point the head gaskets could be bad. I little money on a pre purchase inspection is always a good idea to look for red flags. Generally they tend to be very reliable and have few issues.

      @osmelruizbarrientos8929 2 года назад +2

      I buy one by $14k, RWD the only issue was the valve body of the transmission, I spend 700 usd with a used one included manual jobs. That cost 2800 in the dealer. With 100K miles I also have to change the rear disc and pads. Every work fine, it is a pretty good car with an only cons. the mileage gas consumption,15 miles per gallon.

    Hi mate, I'm back again with another question. Looking to get a 2016 qx70s premium with the diesel 3.0 engine. 80k miles, the service book is up to date and the owner told me he already cleaned the DPF filter. What else should I look at? Do you recommend the 3lt engine? Keen to find a 3.7 petrol but they are hard to get here down under in the premium spec and on white.
    Thanks in advance!!

    • @infinitioftacoma1
      @infinitioftacoma1  Год назад +1

      We never had a diesel version in the states so I cant comment on what that one is like, we only had gasoline V6 and V8 versions here.

    Could you talk more about the type of engine and transmission that is in the fx35 2009? I would like to know if the engine is natural aspirated, and if the tranny is cvt etc etc. Talking about what INFINITI does within their company is of little or value. People want to hear if about the reliability and durability more.

    How do you turn off the passenger side airbag? There is 0 information on that anywhere on the web. I have a mint condition 2012 FX 35 with 104K miles on it. Everyone thinks it's new lol. I do have 22 inch wheels on it which really set it apart.

    • @infinitioftacoma1
      @infinitioftacoma1  Год назад

      It has an occupant sensor that will turn the airbag on or off, but you should never have little kids sit in the front no matter what!

    Hi, I have a FX37 in beige interior and not sure what package it has. But I’m converting into a black steering wheel and I’m trying to source the steering wheel control panel in black color, but not sure which ones are comparable to my vehicle. Was hoping if you could help! Many thanks!

    • @infinitioftacoma1
      @infinitioftacoma1  Год назад +1

      They changed the engine and the body and trim a little but from 2009-2017 the body and most of the components FX are very similar so the steering wheel parts should fit on any FX from 2009-2017. If you have trouble finding the part our parts department might be able to get you one you can call them at 253-231-4300. Thanks for wathcing!
