Unlike Ryuji and (mostly) Yosuke, Junpei is the one ”best bro” character who has quite a lot of conflict with the protagonist. And, while he definitely is a big jerk a few times, his development from that, especially in these new linked episodes, is absolutely fantastic. I honestly didn’t quite love him before playing reload, but now? Probably is my favourite bro of all the persona games.

Dang, Johne didn't choose "Let me see it" during the Linked episode for Akihiko. That was the best moment in the Link for me...
36:18 The better option was "Let me see it" Akihiko gives you the medal and Makoto puts it on Akihiko's neck to wear it. I wish you could've seen it Johne 😔
31:07 apparently it is technically true, while the wraps themselves don't increase the punches power, if done correctly it gives the fighter more protection of their hands to allow them to use more force without hurting something and nullifies the force felt in the fists allowing them to punch for a longer duration

I really appreciate the Linked Episodes in Reload for what they did to Junpei, Akihiko, Aragaki, and Ken. I hope we can see this feature again in P6.
Fun fact it’s been leaked that in Persona 6 Trinity Souls is not mentioned in the slightest

Personally I didn't like the Link Episodes. I never wanted SL for the boys in the remake, so with Link Episodes I gave it a chance but nah. Aki's SL was pure fan service in P3P, never enjoyed it. I enjoyed them going through the story and developing there and not having these deep moments with Makoto/Minato. That was what made P3 FES so special to me and also made those rare scenes of them all hanging out together special.
What made the P3 cast special is there not best pals from the start for obituary reasons. Instead you actually see them slowly become a family. Even the girls social link were usually accessible near the end of the game as to not ruin that flow
It made the bond so much more satisfying and made the stakes of Nyx so much greater
