- Tropea must be one of the most beautiful beach towns in Italy and the entire world. Come along with us on this June 18, 2002 walk as we tour the beach and the historic town center.
Starting at the Corso Vittorio Emanuele in the center of town, we walk north and quickly arrive to the amazing overlook of the Mediterranean sea. We then wind through the shops and restaurants and enter the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi. Next, we move to the beach and experience the phenomenally clear water. There are many sunbathers near the cliffs and on the beach, with several oceanfront restaurants serving lunch. Finally, we return to the town above for an evening walk to see the seafood restaurants and gelaterias full of life.

This is really a beautiful town. The houses are well painted. Awesome variety of sandy beaches. It's Saturday and the restaurants are just waiting for evening to begin. Later in the evening the restaurants were getting full. This is the best video I have seen of Tropea. Very good presentation, thanks for video.

It's a beautiful town with a terrific beach, yet it's not overwhelmed by the kinds of crowds you find in Positano, Capri and the like. Unfortunately, this video may help change that.
What you say it's true but only if we talking about foreigners, who actually don't know Tropea very much, but from July to September it's full of people (many italians, less foreigners), you have to consider this video was shot in June (low season in Italy).
Anyway I agree, it deserves more credit, it's very beautiful (sorry for "eng"). 👍🍺

If you swim through that opening at 29:56 where the people are coming from, you get to another secluded beach which looks straight out of a movie. It´s only accessible by swimming, hence only a couple of young people were there when I visited
