i much prefer this show on Radiance (i was on it twice last year), the people doing the show were actually playing the music live and they had little drones with lights on em

We actually really enjoyed the entertainment on MSC Seashore... but Carnival has definitely stepped up their show game the last few years.
I liked Legends far more than playlist. Carnival needs to follow in the footsteps of RCCL. However. This group is far better than any other playlist group.
Wow... the Legends show... I played Garth Brooks in that one years ago... I think that the Carnival entertainment has really taken a step forward, though you are right, RCCCL & NCL are still out front. But if they all continue to get better, we as the passengers win! Thanks for watching.

THAT is an excellent question Diane! I know that the Panorama only sailed for a few short months before the shutdown and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to sail on her then, but the entertainment staff on Mardi Gras did tell me that the two shows on Mardi Gras and Panorama were the same... The whole show from the Horizon is on u tube. No one has put on the Mardi Gras version yet, to my knowledge
Saw this show on the Mardi Gras a few weeks ago and I don’t remember the cast having this much dance movement. They just stood there and sang. Maybe I slept thru it. I actually preferred the center stance shows a lot better then the playlist performances
Was it a rocky night at sea? Sometimes if there is too much movement, or if a performer is injured or gets sick, they perform the show as a "concert" instead of the full choreographed performance...
@@thecruiseworld not that I recalled. I think it was for the most part pretty smooth sailing.
@Carrie Bouknight I know on our last cruise they did the "concert" style for the Havana Nights show, we were bummed but found out one of the dancers was sick and too late to adjust choreo...
I saw it just this week and the Mardi Gras crew wouldn’t stop moving, must’ve changed the cast
Give me RC performers and shows any day over Carnivals.IDK why Carnival cant get a sound tech hired who can help get the volumes etc corrected with there productions. Also the shows are major bores when compared to other cruise lines
John, I agree, as I said in the video, that RCL and NCL have amazing productions, but in the last few years I have seen a lot of progress in Carnivals entertainment. I think they're moving in the right direction. Thanks for watching!

American rocks on carnival liberty is so much better than this in my opinion but no shows beat disney cruise line show .

I haven't been a=on a Disney ship in years (we will have to do something about that) but I have to tell you, we just got off Wonder of the Seas this morning, and the shows were AMAZING! Intense, the aqua theater show, 365, the ice skating show and the brand new Effectors 2 were all top notch!

@@thecruiseworld I get sick on boats, and I think I tend to prefer being in a more natural environment like going camping in the woods. Apart from being on the sea, the internals of cruise ships are extremely artificial - kind of like shopping centres - which I don't enjoy. The effort put into this performance though is great!

i travel alot with carnival. this by far is one of the worst shows i have seen so far. this is not near any level of RCL.
RCL does definitely have some of the best entertainment in the industry...

@@thecruiseworld I dont mind this type of show per se. i have seen rock shows in the past and have enjoyed them. i expected better song selection and for it to be closer to the orginal sound and not as showy.
Example..i saw a great rock show that consisted of songs from queen, joan jett, pink floyd, rolling stones, elvis, duran duran...and all sounded pretty close to what i would expect the songs to sound like..this show is just crap.
We say this show on the Mardi Gras a few weeks ago. My dad hated this show and thought the singers were awful. My nephew thought it was really bad too.
I hope hope they put more new shows on other carnival ships 🛳😊😊
YES! Hopefully as things continue to ramp up they can create some more new shows!
