what kind of steel was used in this video. it looks like a modified version made for easy cutting. probably loaded with vandium. i would like to see this done with 4140

The High Feed concept is very successful with 4140 steel and even die steels up to 43 Rc. We use the concept with many different manufacturer's of indexable and solid carbide tooling. Emuge did not specify the steel alloy used in this video.

David l not just the material he keeps saying that you can't hear chatter or vibration how can you know that when the voice over is set at a high volume compared to the machine

@@richardsmith3152 Chatter would show up in the surface finish. Pretty difficult to hide. Not to mention, you can still hear the cutting action.
