This 1934 modern screen magazine is really good 👍 with the pictures of nearly every celebrity in it like Mae West, Jean Harlow, Norma shearer and others-the stories are interesting and so are the ads -on the back of the magazine is a ad for lucky strikes cigarettes with a woman on it! Anyway, that isn’t bad! 😊😊😊😊😊
So many good photographs in this one I agree! And ya, it's interesting to see the promotion of cigarettes back then. I remember when smoking was still legal in public places (I live in Canada). It's hard to believe now. Thanks for watching! 😊
Fabulous, especially the Harlow article ! I'm a classic movie fan, so I've seen several of the movies advertised here. Thanks again for posting (& PS, where are you finding these magazines?)
Thank you for watching! I collect magazines. I get them from different places. People sell them online, garage sales, thrift stores. There's always someone cleaning out their closets and getting rid of old boxes of things that sometimes contain gems! It's somewhat of a hobby for me and I figured if I enjoy looking through these others might as well. 😊
seeing Jean Harlow at (1:36) is a delight, and the article about Gloria Swanson making a comeback at (4:34)is so prophetic of Sunset Boulevard 1950)
