Imagine how the ancient tempIes were built, from a single stone like Kailasa and one chisel, the little details like the smoothness is very important, yet have the detailing and geometry down to perfection and requires pure passion.
All the workers that built this temple were given US citizenship as the people in charge of building the temple exploited them and paid them peanuts for their work. Very typical of what goes on in India. Thete is a lawsuit pending or has been resolved i can't remember. Google it!

I actually visited this place a while back. I heavily admired the architecture there. I have not seen something this crazy. One thing to note is that most of the campus buildings are prefabricated. If you get close, you can see the marks of the molds, however, that does not change the fact that this entire place is amazing and it’s extraordinary that someone managed to imagine this place.

His known as Bhagvaan Swaminarayan. and his others names are NilKanth, Sahajanaj Swami, Hari Krishna Maharaj, Akshar Purshotam . he told his two brothers sons to pass his teachings, build templs and make sadhus called saints . and after years some Saints separated from them and some of brances were created from his sadhus and this branch is called BAPs and founder was Sadhu (saint and first Guru) Sashtriji Maharaj - our guru who build first temple in Bochasan -Gujarat so this temple called Bochasan Akshar Purshotam Swaminarayan Sanstha in Short BAPS Akshar Dhaam temple. there are Also BAPS temple in London, Chicago, Texas, Los Angeles, Georgia , Toronto, these are carved temples and small temples are spread all over the world.

Thanku so much it's amazing ❤

Imagine how the ancient tempIes were built, from a single stone like Kailasa and one chisel, the little details like the smoothness is very important, yet have the detailing and geometry down to perfection and requires pure passion.
All the workers that built this temple were given US citizenship as the people in charge of building the temple exploited them and paid them peanuts for their work. Very typical of what goes on in India.
Thete is a lawsuit pending or has been resolved i can't remember. Google it!
They carved a hill from the top going down to fashion whole temple with intricate designs. One should see the msgnificent temples from south india where architecture, astronomy, science all combine.
true, the north indian temples are mostly destroyed, but south indian temples are intact@@Bslkuye-29q
This place is a heaven for artists, sculpture all over. When you are there, you have to look in all directions, something to see everywhere. When inside, don't forget to look at the ceilings, magnificently sculpted, and the floor has variuos patterns of inlaid marble.👍
Yes! I looked up so much my neck started hurting. Lol Floors were really cool. Just everything. So true that everywhere you look there's something to see. We plan on going back hopefully in the fall.
@@SpencersVentures Diwali day would be good to visit, call and ask them about it, there could be thousands of people on that day.

Thanks USA respect from India and hindus ❤. Love you people you have given place for temple it's just mesmerizing.
It ain't the first one. It's the biggest one. US has given every religious the right to establish their faith centres.
@@emotionalIntelligence2078 That's great. And legal immigrants in return work for America while enriching the overall culture. Long live universalism. And it also entails fighting parochialism
You don’t need to thank anyone. USA is not like Islamic countries. USA is like India. Every person is free to practice their faith. India has more churches compared to the many temples in US.

It's like walking into ancient India, the amount of time taken to carve all of that, amazing. As an Indian I feel proud to see a beautiful temple so big in the US,even though I am Christian,I love Hinduism, the oldest religion in the world, grew up reading these wonderful mystical stories,of Gods and Godess Hanuman etc.Just wow.😍
Thank you! As a practicing Hindu I say this with due respect and affection - Hindus are so inclusive that I have a bible sitting next to my Gita in my home temple. I love Jesus and believe that a true Christian is absolutely the same as a true Hindu or Muslim or anyone else living a good, clean, loving, and peaceful life. No religion teaches hate, the interpreters twist things around for their own gains.
14:20 WOW, holy smokes! BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely spectacular! Unreal.😮😮😮😮

Mam, don't worry about names. There are many biblical names which I can't pronounce. It's normal.

This is so beautifully constructed. thank you for showing us.
Thanks for showing us around. I love Hindu architecture so much. Such an ancient culture.
There are many Hindu temples here in Dublin. I admire Hinduism and never met any Hindu who told me to convert or embrace Hinduism. On the other hand, i have Muslim friends who've asked me to embrace Islam more than you could count
That goes to show you that the love and respect 🫡 we have for everyone.
Hinduism is the Life of Our All Journey , Who we are , How we Live & Help Others , Yoga , Meditation everything reflects on our Life to connect God .......
Good people making good videos, good vibes. Viewers come, they see good things, they feel happy.
Hindu Architecture is ❤
Thank your for visiting. :)
These temples, those sculptures are part of our ancient Indian subcontinent Culture..Modern day people call it "Hinduism".
The Abrahamic debated till recent times on whether women have souls, The Hindu religion considers feminine as divine and honors the fecund nature of feminine divine. There have been many women seers of Vedas & Upanishads
Do women have souls to Blacks have souls and do animals have souls? Church tried to adjust with changing times snd circumstances.
Thanks for visiting and showing us around. I am from India. I wish I could visit this temple some day.
Beautiful place. Safron by weight was more expensive than gold, gold prices gone up since several years. Safron flavor in puddings, shakes like drinks tastes good. Safron flowers are very light, slender, hand picked, very expensive.
America is so open and curious about cultures that are alien to it.
I thought it's only possible in countries like india which has lot of cultures but i am happy to be wrong.
It's really nice to see people who are open minded and respectful to different cultures.

Great to see the temple.
Never in my wildest dreams would have thought abt a massive Hindu temple in America.

You guys have the cutest smiles and very open hearts and minds. God bless, and thanks, because though I am in India I got to see the temple through your video. And btw that flaky golden chick pea sweet is Sohn Papdi, I guarrentee you, it is delicious. My childhood memories are of gorging down those melt in the mouth sweets with my big bro. Again God bless you guys for showing us the temple and grounds in such great details.
that fragrance of incense sticks . feels awesome .
The treats badly need tea or coffee to compliment em. My suggestion, Darjeeling tea or Mysore Gold Coffee. Great excursion by the way. The intrinsic carvings, the gardens and mind blowing Indian architecture insanely spectacular. Akshardam in New Jersey, who could have imagine it! Wow indeed. ❤from Malaysia.

hi ! the golden stops on the map of his journey is also popular pilgrims places in India. most Hindus try to visit these places on their lives because these places have thousands of years of history and its historical temples. north, west,south,east.. he started from North and he settled at west in state called Gujarat Loj and spread his teachings to Gujrat and he also died there .
