Māori leader Joe Hawke arrived at Orākei Marae

Hundreds gathered at Orākei Marae to mourn the loss of their great leader of Ngāti Whātua, Joseph Parata Hawke who has died at 82.
He was a former Labour MP and a renowned activist, known as of the leading figures of the Takaparawhā (Bastion Point reserve) occupation.
