They sell it as a completely new game for something that should've been a free game mode update? Actually, I'm feeling generous today so I would say this could pass as a $5 DLC. Good luck having enough of a player base to last for a year before it become a ghost town.

I recently bought Demeo and during a play, a player said: see you in pvp as he’s leaving for pvp. So maybe it is not as Resolution’s excuse on the decision making: to expand the player base. It is about greediness.
I’m also a bit confused bought demeo recently enjoying it and don’t want it to die the trailer I just watched looks like what I’m already playing wouldn’t want to re buy it again just to have color pass through to play on a table in real life idk 😢
Maybe when your shiny "new" game has to piggy back on the name of your previous game for it to make any senses, probably because it should just have been a DLC or an update. This is literally just a different game mode with absolutely no new contents or assets.

You can play with pass through in the original one too, but this one is pvp rather than co-op
