Jennifer Larmore is Isabella and Alessandro Corbelli is Taddeo in this comical duet from Rossini's "L'Italiana in Algeri".
I have a wonderful souvenir of this production. I had taken 10 fellow students to the Opera Garnier to attend it. It was their first time at the Opera for the most... and they laughed and appreciated it a lot ! There was such a happy atmosphere on stage...

Wouldn't you be tiring yourself out? Doesn't it strain your chest? Either way, this is still absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe when I saw it either. I had the exact same reaction when I heard it. What is the note? The High B?
