I loved the song " Enemy" from Birdbrain in the 90's. Has taken me a long time to get into all their work. Now they are one of my favourite bands ever !
He sings out of tune most of the time. But, it fits the song perfectly. It doesn't need to be " perfect". It's a work of art! You don't need to be the best vocalist. It's all about the song.
