To be fair, that depends on what one wants to get from a movie. Alexander, though horribly boring due to overdetailisaton and long cuts is **mostly** historically accurate and not politically biased. Kingdom of heaven is a much more entertaining movie. But from a historical point of view its just complete bullshit. AND! Its pretty biased showing crusaders only as these barbaric monsters hungry for blood, while showing muslims as these kind and progressive people who only defend their land. While in reality it was pretty gray, *both sides* were pretty much monsters. Not to mention that crusaders where also an answer to Muslim brutal expansion into Europe through Spain, Greece, Romania (I'm not saying muslims where worse. Only not better). So i would rather have both movies to be a mix between the two styles. Either historically accurate but entertaining, or, if there are changes to the story they should be just to make it more interesting. Not politically revisionist.

Yes! Bring me some ice water and Reynald's head! I want to play football.
@@Danko_Sekulic We shall vanquish that villain in a virtuous victory.
Imagine seeing this in real life.
I can't even imagine how they would get tens of thousands of men in such orderly columns. Medieval armies had something impressive to them.
Medieval armies were typically much smaller
@@andrekoniger3020 The 3rd crusade I’m pretty sure the Christians numbered 20,000 to 30,000

More probably 35-50
The numbers are nothing compared to WW1 & WW2. In the battle of the Somme the British suffered 60,000 casualties in the first hour of the offensive. In the Battles of Rzhev (also known as the Rzhev meat grinder) the Russian suffered over a million casualties.
I've been searching for this exact scene for 7 yrs, 7! And my journey has now come to an end. damn, it feels good!

Nice lie, the Church has preserved them
@@deadshot2641 Not really. (Post) Christians have made progress because they have marginalized religion. Muslims focused on religion and stayed in the Middle Ages.
A thousand years later, we realized we were fighting the wrong enemy
@Ned Kelly The Zionists/ Jews (not all of course) they are against everything that isn't a Jew and you can't even convert to become a Jew
@Ned Kelly what did i mean?
@Ned Kelly well it's simple behind every problem there is a Nose behind it. If you talk about it they call you anti-Semitic and go to jail but when you talk about Islam or something it's freedom of speech
@Ned Kelly why is it anti-Semitic? if a Jew is a murderer for example is it anti-Semitic to call him an evil person?
The real enemies are religion, greed, lust for power etc.
When Europeans had balls still.
Both leaders, technically, are Indo-European; however, The Lepor is from Christendom (modern Europe).
@@AliAhmed-dh4pl Actually technically all main character, except one is indo-europeans lmao. Even Saladins advisor (the morally good guy) is based around Imad ad Din al-Isfahani who was a Persian, who are Iranic peoples just as Kurdish peoples (Saladin).
@@AliAhmed-dh4pl he said EUROPEAN not indo European which is a language group spoken by a bunch of unrelated people.
@@ChromeMan04 They are related. Once upon a time on the Pontic Steppe, around 50,000 years ago, one group went East, one went West. They've been fighting ever since.
@@romanmanner 50,000 years ago there was no such thing as “indo Europeans.” And the Indo Europeans who migrated from Central Asia encountered people already living in Europe and mixed with them. Not all Europeans have steppe ancestry like Southern Europeans for example.
