    actually, it's becoming very predictable with the host team always winning, its getting old, and they need to do something about it because teams that don't deserve to even be there are making the competition look pointless.

      In the last 20 years excluding COVID, the Memorial Cup has been awarded to host teams 7 times, that's 35% of the time. It definitely hasn't happened often enough to be a problem.
