At 8 yrs old....my friend and I were looking for Michael, but still thought it was neat. There is (still!) a creepiness about the film that makes it a good horror flick. I love the cinematography brought by Dean Cundey. The dude makes the dark appear REALLY dark. Camera angles, music, and suspenseful story line create wonder and worry for the viewer. Definitely a great Halloween flick.

I really and truly like this film and have no problem at all with it being called Halloween III Season of the Witch. I knew there was no Michael in it so I accepted that. The film is really good. It has elements in it that are dark, creepy and atmospheric. I found it more scary and disturbing than a stalk and slash. The music is first class and really sets the mood and tone. The jingle stays with you.. Once the mask goes on and that jingle starts you better be ready for the terror to start !! Those robots are creepy too. The factory is eerie... I love this film.
I want an anthology series with Doctor Dan as the only thread tying it together, boozing and womanizing his way through adventure after adventure, missing child support payments, and staying in ratty motels with barely legal tarts trying to find out who killed their father. THE DOCTOR IS IN. A running gag could be him calling his wife to tell her about whatever dastardly conspiracy (why not, it's never been done) he's trying to stop, but everytime she just thinks he's drunk and yells GO TO HELL before hanging up. Possible one liners: "Prognosis...not good" "FLATLINE" "Your results show a mineral deficiency. My prescription? click click Lead supplement." "I think I shoulda married you, (BLANK)" "Time for a little... click click ...MALPRACTICE." "I'll have to take your vitals... click click PERMANENTLY."
